Rust Preventative 7230

Description

RP-7230 is an oil based, water displacing rust inhibitor that when applied leaves a thin, oily coating on the surface of the part. This product has the unique characteristic of being able to get under any water that has been left on the part and separate it from the part. Once separated, the rust inhibitor is left to form a physical barrier between the metal surface and a hostile environment. This barrier prevents the environment from attacking and corroding the metal surface. RP-7230 provides up to 6 months protection, depending
on the environment.
 
Use it to protect tools, dies, parts, machinery or other equipment. If applied in a dip tank, displaced water from the part will sink to the bottom of the tank. To keep the tank fresh, the water must be drained off periodically. Apply with spray, dip or brush. Remove with petroleum solvent, vapor degreaser, or
alkaline cleaner.

Use in neat form, or dilute with mineral oil or solvent.

*Due to  hazardous material handling, Lamson Oils can only be shipped with Ground Service. All FormAll & LamSyn oils (all water soluble & synthetic products) must sit overnight and be tested the following morning. Typical lead time for shipping is 2-4 days after receipt of order.
